Lunar Wolf Companion

Large monstrosity, lawful neutral

The lunar wolf is of an ancient line, as old as dead stars long forgotten. They were hunted into near extinction eons ago. To survive, they disregarded the pack nature and instead became companions to powerful entities. Mages, warriors, kings, and even gods would tame these beasts, bringing them under their protection. This kept the species alive, but only those of them who were deemed strong enough to be useful. Over time, they evolved into near immortal beings.
