Everything you need to write about Bubblybards
I've always been a bit of a nerd, loving fantasy and everything that came with it. When I first watched Lord of the Rings, something clicked. But it wasn't until 2014 when I played D&D for the first time that I truly fell in love.
My first character? An insanely chaotic gnome assassin with a temper. I loved that I could release all my silliness and have a ton of fun with friends around a table. From that moment, D&D became a part of my life.
Over the years, I kept having ideas for D&D tools. I even tried building some, but I lacked the technical skills. Slowly, I got better. Website building tools became more accessible and smarter. The dream of building a geeky D&D platform started feeling possible.
Eight years ago, our group started playing almost every week. D&D went from a hobby to a passion. I saw how DMs struggled with scattered notes, ugly PDFs, and tools that weren't made for us. I knew I could build something better.
I finally took the jump to start my own company. I still do freelance web development and help companies digitalize their processes - it pays the bills. But every spare hour goes into Bubblybards.
Now I've reached a beta version I'm proud of. Something I want to share with you. I want to build this platform with the community, not just for them. If you follow this journey - and maybe even back the Kickstarter in May - you might just help me go full-time on my nerdy dream.
Let's build something amazing together.

One-liner: Bubblybards is a free D&D content builder where you can create, organize, and share homebrew with a community of creators.
The problem: D&D creators share homebrew through scattered Google Drive links and static PDFs. Content gets buried after a day, can't be edited, and isn't connected to anything.
The solution: Bubblybards provides professional templates, SRD integration, and a community where content stays discoverable forever. Creators can share their work publicly, let others copy it into their own campaigns, and build a following around their content.

"Bubblybards is a free D&D content creation platform founded by Kenneth Korsgaard Kristensen in 2025. It combines professional templates, SRD integration, and community features to help Dungeon Masters and players create, organize, and share their homebrew content. Unlike static PDFs shared through Google Drive, content on Bubblybards stays discoverable, editable, and connected. The platform launches its Kickstarter campaign in May 2026."
