Deathmask Trooper

Large construct, unaligned

Created long ago by a kingdom whose name has been lost to history, the deathmask troopers were created during its final days as a desperate bid to stave off some encroaching threat. In the end, they may have only hastened the fall. Forged using a mix of metal, alchemy, and soul harvesting, the inanimate constructs were transported to a battlefield to consume the anima of mortals as fuel to animate, then kept killing to stay up.
