Digi-Destined

DigiDestined are children selected by benevolent beings to protect the Digital World and sometimes the Real World from evil forces, should the need arise. A DigiDestined is defined by the possession of a Digivice and a link to a Digimon partner. When a Digimon is partnered with a DigiDestined, that child becomes its sole source of Digivolution. Digimon becomes stronger through Digivolution; usually, a difficult process to achieve, akin to aging, but a DigiDestined's Digivice and inherent strength amplify a Digimon's power to the point where it can di

Feature: Chosen Heroes

Through this new experience, you find that it's easier to talk to those within the Digital World as they almost immediately recognize you as a Digi-Destined thanks to your Digi-Vice. Whenever you ask around other Digimon for information or even any entities within the Digital World, they are typically more inclined to give it to you so long as you can validate you're a Digi-Destined in some way; such as showing off your Partner Digimon digivolving or some other means.

Suggested Characteristics

Personality Traits (d8)

1All I think about is completing my goal of saving the world.
2I'll use this power to determine my own route in life, and perhaps save the world if it benefits.
3I stay calculative with every decision I make but optimistic about their results.
4Digimon freak me out and I'm scared of most, but my partner and I can get through this together.
5When I need to spring into action I've already taken a leap through the orbit to do it.
6I put my life on the line for everything I do, and saving the world will be no exception.
7I'm going to save the world to take over the world.
8While trying to save the world I guess I should focus on myself as well.

Ideals (d6)

1Protection. I was put into this world to save it from wrong-doers. (Good)
2Devastation. The DIgital-World is nothing without me, therefore I'll save it just to rule. (Evil)
3Improvement. I view this goal of saving the world as a challenge with the hope it pushes me up a level and allows me to improve. (Neutral)
4Egotistical. I'm the strongest, I'm the smartest, I'm the best...I AM THE BEST DIGI-DESTINED! (Chaotic)
5Goals. My one track mind lets me focus on the goal; and that's all that matters. (Any)
6Natural Order. You would rather do what you were brought here to do, viewing it as nothing more than the natural order of things. (Any)

Bonds (d6)

1I believe in my Digimon as much as I believe in myself. They're my courage.
2I was pushed into this field, not of my own volition. But the Digimon I've partnered with has turned into a friendship.
3I truly have hope that my kindness will allow others to trust me.
4I started independently until my egg hatched, and now it's me and my Digimon against the world.
5My goal is my soul--and moving steps back from it breaks me, but it doesn't kill me.
6While the end goal is why I'm here, I want to view the world and learn.

Flaws (d6)

1I have no idea what I'm even doing.
2No one can know that my fear of the unknown is the reason I fail.
3I'm complacent with myself and want to be lazy, postponing reaching the goal for as long as I can.
4I think I'm better than everyone because I was chosen.
5Sometimes I end up going too far for the sake of my goal.
6I'm frightened by the fact this is my reality.
