World Lore

This is the central hub for all the foundational lore and mythology of the world. Here you'll find the cosmic truths that shape reality, the stories of creation, and the fundamental forces that govern existence.

What You'll Find Here

The Weave

Explore the nature of the Weave—the sentient force of creation that embodies magic and existence itself. Learn about the Eightinity (its eight facets representing the schools of magic), its self-awareness, and its desire to see itself reflected in a universe. Discover how the Weave relates to mortals, its neutrality, and its role as both creator and observer.

The Eight Chosen Races

The first beings created by the Weave, each embodying different facets of existence. Discover why the Weave chose eight races, how each race mirrors one of the Eight Facets, and what roles they were meant to fulfill. Learn about elves as embodiments of balance, dwarves of endurance, humans of adaptation, and the other five races.

The Sundering of the Skies

The cosmic myth that explains the birth of the Nine Hells and the Celestial Realms. Follow the tragic story of Zephyren the Skyfather and his son Aspharion the Reckoner of Flame. Understand how Aspharion's desperate attempt to preserve balance led to twisted magic, the creation of the infernal planes, and the War of Heaven and Flame. Learn about the two paths souls may take after death, and why some still hear Aspharion's whispers.

Connecting the Lore

These pages form the foundation of the world's mythology. The Weave created the Eight Races, who then participated in the Founding Accord to shape the Material Plane. Later, when Aspharion broke from his father's teachings, he shattered the assumption that the Weave's plan was perfect—introducing the concepts of the afterlife, divine magic, and prayer.
