Traits

Photosynthesis. Being plant-like, anthesi do not need to eat if they have sunlight. Instead, they can expose themselves to bright sunlight for 6 hours a day as part of a short rest . After resting in this way, you fulfill your food requirement for the day.
Plant. Your creature type is plant instead of humanoid. As such, you are immune to spells like crown of madness or dominate person because they specifically target humanoids.
One with Nature. You know the druidcraft cantrip. Charisma is your spellcasting modifier for this spell. Aquatic Anthesi of the aquatic subrace have skin colors that are duller in hue, and often have slimy skin. Bits of seaweed and kelp often decorate their bodies.
Slippery. You have advantage on any rolls you make to resist being grappled and escaping a grapple. Fungal Fungal anthesi are the rarest and oddest kind of the race, as fungi are closer to animals than plants. They are characterized with spongy, irregular growths on their bodies that go beyond simple mushroom caps.
Poison Resistance. You have resistance to poison damage, and you are immune to being poisoned .
Improved Darkvision. The range of your darkvision is 120 feet, rather than 60.
