Hidden in lava tubes and beneath volcanoes, the volcanic wurms are gluttonous brutes who bully all those smaller than themselves, though they are more intelligent than they let on. The innards of volcanic wurms are like great furnaces that burn and melt everything the wurm consumes. These wurms have a taste for metal and have been responsible for the destruction of many forges and strongholds.
