Poe

Small undead, chaotic evil

A poe usually appears as a floating shadow in the approximate shape of a humanoid, wearing tattered scraps of clothes. One typically lacking legs, but is capable of effortless magical flight. A poe always wields a metallic lantern of unknown origin, which is known by some to contain the poe's soul—or what little remains of it. A typical poe is never seen without this lantern, and can wield it both as a blunt club and a deflecting shield.
