Dark Chuchu

Medium ooze, unaligned

As its name implies, a dark chuchu is visibly distinct from more common chuchus by its dark violet coloration. Any one of them has the unusual ability to resist almost all forms of conventional attack; a blade can cleave it and a hammer can splatter it, but the chuchu instantly reforms as if unaffected by the blow. Petrified by Pure Light. For unknown reasons, when a dark chuchu is struck by pure light, its entire body almost instantly solidifies into a statue-like imitation of itself.
