During Kaimere's Tyrant Dynasty, ceratopsians were one of the dominant groups of megafauna in both terrestrial and aquatic habitats: most dry habitats were dominated by chasmosaurines while wetland habitats. While they do still survive in the Known World today, the Dynastic Extinction has rendered them a shadow of their former glory, with only a few semi-aquatic centrosaurs left in the Known World and the chasmosaurs long having been rendered completely extinct.
