Armed Escort

Your family, or you, has ties to merchants and other such entities who hire your services to deliver goods of all sorts to the far reaches of the realm. You take full responsibility of the transportation and security of the merchandise, with which you always stake your reputation and honor on the line. You strive to be loyal and immune to trickery that would cause you to betray these values. Your honor protects your employer and goods throughout the journey. You have traveled to many places, high and low. Delivery is done during day and night may it be rain or shine. You have tales to tell of the dangers you and your companions have encountered on the road. But, all in all, it is rewarding to see and experience what others only dream of. You are adept to the open road, but you are not shy

As an armed escort, you value information as anybody else in preparation for your trips. Discuss with your DM the extent of your characters knowledge about the ways of the roads to and fro in local areas you have been to, or what is on your maps. As a frequent traveler, you are expected to know roads as well as their slight advantages over others and smallsecrets, which are part of your expertise as an escort.
